I've had this DJI Mavic Air 2 since it first was released in early May and I'm super happy with our purchase! I use this drone for businesses purposes and also sell my own prints so I can attest to the quality of the camera. I definitely recommend going with the "Fly More Combo" if you are planning to use on a regular basis as you will get extra batteries and a better battery charger. Each battery lasts about 34 min of flight time, and the cost of buying batteries ($115 each) on later on down the line gets really expensive so if you buy them up front in the combo you are doing yourself a favor. If you are looking for a more cost effective Drone option I have listed them at the end of this article.

I believe the new Fly More Combo pack comes with a few ND filters, which I did not receive when it first came out, so I purchased some on my own. Filters are honestly a game changer! You never know what your flying conditions are going to be, and by using filters, you can have more control of your image. For example, they have filters that are good for flying in cloudy/overcast weather or super bright Sunny weather as well. You will notice a difference in the colors, and sharpness of your image by using filters. Do you ever see someones drone video or photo and wonder why yours doesn't look as high quality even though you have the same equipment...it's most likely because they are using some sort of lens filter!

WOW Okay this new and improved Mavic Mini 2 is going to be my newest "most recommended" drone for new flyers! It is HALF the cost of the Mavic Air 2 but VERY comparable in specs. It has a 31 minute flight time (WHAT!), trust me every minute counts when you are up in the air, and our first drone Mavic Air 1 had barely 26 minutes. It has 4k video, which the older Mini version was only 2.7k (which is still incredible), but if you are planning to take videos then definitely invest in 4k. The only big difference I see with the Mavic Air 2 and Mini 2 is the 48mp vs 12mp image size but if you are using images just for Instagram or digitally then this shouldn't be a huge problem.

I need one of these SOOO bad and I'm kicking myself for not ordering one sooner. We've flown in a lot of remote places, and the more sand, dirt, water, etc that gets into the drone can be forever damaging. Launching from a pad not only helps you land, but also protects the technology.
