You understand that the COVID-19 pandemic may still be a consideration during the year 2023 and understand your risk and liability with attending this retreat. The group organizer will do everything in her power to accommodate all listed activities under COVID protocols and weather conditions. You forfeit the right to a refund under any circumstances, including due to having to cancel for any COVID -19 related illnesses. If you can no longer attend you forfeit the right to transfer your spot to someone else and lose your right to a refund. 

 

Travel Insurance is REQUIRED for you to purchase separately for this trip.

 

No refunds of any kind and all payments are final.

 

If you book the Single Occupancy Room and later find another occupant to share you will be required to pay the Double Occupancy Room rate. Please let Brittany know ASAP. Guests who are not paying for the retreat shall not be allowed to room or join activities. 

 

50% Deposit due at booking and Paid in Full by date listed on booking platform WeTravel.

 

*Britts Bella Vita LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at owners sole discretion. If you are removed from the trip you may receive a full or partial refund at my discretion on a case by case basis*

 

Participants will not be refunded after the retreat for any events or yoga sessions that did not take place due to circumstances beyond control ie: weather, pandemic. If participants opt out of attending any of the scheduled yoga sessions or hikes they will not refunded for missing these activities by their own choosing. 

 

When working with third party retreat companies their individual terms of services and conditions will apply. For all retreats curated by Brittany please know that deposits, partial payments or refunds shall not be granted and participants sign up for retreats acknowledging Brittany Hausman is not responsible for guests opting out of the retreat for any reason. If guests no longer feel comfortable traveling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Brittany is still hosting the retreat, they understand they may forfeit any deposits or full pending payments or payments made if they decide to opt out of the retreat.

LIABILITY FOR DANGERS AND RISKS: I (we) understand that there are certain dangers, hazards, and risks inherent in travel and the activities to be engaged in during the Trip including, but not limited to, those set forth, which can cause personal injury, death and property damage. I (we) further understand that the Host cannot and does not assume responsibility for any such personal injury, death or property damage. Participating in the Trip on a voluntary basis and has not been induced to do so by the host or any other person.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: Notwithstanding the dangers, hazards, and risks involved, and in consideration to participate in the Trip: 

   • (i)  I (we) agree to assume all the risks surrounding my participation in the Trip and in the activities I (we) undertakes in connection therewith; and

   • (ii)  I (we) release and forever discharge the Host, from any and all liability for any injury, damage, loss, cost or expense (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees) of any nature that I (we) may at any time have or incur, arising out of or in any manner related to any loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to suffering and death, that may be sustained by my I (we) or by any property belonging to while on this trip. 

2. DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITY: I (we) understand and agree that the the host (Britts Bella Vita) are:

(i) not responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay which may be caused by a defect in any vehicle or other mode of transportation, or the negligence or other wrongful act of any party engaged to provide services connected with the Trip,

• (ii)  not responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss or expense due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, natural disasters, terrorism, or other such causes,

• (iii)  not responsible or liable for disruption of travel arrangements, or any consequent additional expenses that may be incurred there from, and

• (iv)  Not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or theft of luggage or other personal belongings. 

 

All guests are required by Brittany Hausman to purchase trip insurance to protect their investment in their trip. If a guest tests positive for COVID-19 or becomes ill before the trip, they understand that they must notify Brittany Hausman via email at brittsbellavita@gmail.com as soon as possible. If a guest becomes ill due to COVID-19 or is exposed and think they may have contracted COVID-19 before the retreat, they will be allowed a one time transfer to a future domestic retreat of the same value, one year from the date of the originally scheduled retreat, space pending.
