As I am sitting here in my small one bedroom apartment in Southern California, awaiting for the seasons to change. I can’t help but remember my favorite and long awaited season: FALL! We don’t experience the true wonders of this glorious season down here in Orange County. Of course sunny and 70 days are not under appreciated, but I can’t help but crave the changing of leaves, fresh picked squash from the farmers market, and chilly nights that autumn has to offer.
I think of my Northern California day quite often (sigh). There is nothing like making a hot cup of coffee and taking a drive down Highway 32 to admire the beautiful trees and creeks.
Deer Creek Falls is truly majestic. Once explored by the last living tribe of Indians in California, you can’t help but feel connected to the beauty our antecedents once roamed.
